Foxes' "Let Go For Tonight" - Review

Following a feature on Zedd's inescapable top ten hit "Clarity", a collaboration with Fall Out Boy in the form of "Just One Yesterday" and the release of her own pop perfect "Holding Onto Heaven", up and comer Foxes has just unleashed the fun and colorful video for new single, "Let Go For Tonight", a track set to be featured on her upcoming debut album, Glorious.

Similar to her previous releases, Foxes' new offering is a wonderful synth-pop creation with loud, crashing production and an emphasis on her show-stopping vocal performance. With a soft, piano-driven intro, the single then kicks the energy into full gear as the four minutes roll on. "So I call your name, the only thing I know, is I need you here, will you be gone forever?", the singer questions before the chorus comes crashing in.

The track itself is a strong, solid release. One that should keep the talented Foxes in the spotlight. To go along with the new single, the artist has unleashed the accompanying music video as well which incorporates an explosion of color and a childish food fight. Starting with a blank canvas, things get crazy as the song evolves. Surrounded by friends, Foxes seems to be having a carefree, good time as she delivers the lyrics to her song.

Besides the out-of-control antics, it is Foxes herself who steals the show with her jaw-dropping, gorgeous looks. Without having to lick a dirty sledgehammer or remove her clothing, the pop artist radiates as she gives a classy, yet sexy, performance in front of the camera before a desert scene is shown to end the visual on a high note.

"Let Go For Tonight" is a beautiful release. Hopefully the American audience takes notice of Foxes' incredible artistic abilities and powerful vocals. The new music video is a nice companion, nothing too serious, but still effective in getting the overall message across. Are you becoming a fan of Foxes?
