Pete Doherty for the Kooples is actually gorgeous

Dear lord go on without me.....I think I have just lost my mind. Not only am I featuring menswear - which hardly EVER happens here but I think I just found Pete Doherty attractive. I clearly need to either give up the crystal meth or get a good nights sleep!!!! Or maybe this could be explained by the fact that I am not crushing over Doherty - but rather the slick tailoring of the Kooples.

There is something which makes me think of Brighton Rock in this collection - possibly the old school vintage vibe that runs through it present in the braces, the sharp shirts and the gorgeous brogues. I LOVE this. I never thought I would be the type to gush over menswear like this but it is seriously slick. 

This is of course the collection that was promised ages ago but delayed by Doherty going to prison last year for cocaine 'issues'. No wonder I am seeing Brighton Rock in this - the 60s mods were a design inspiration to Doherty while making the collection - ah. Apparently there is a women's collection too so I MUST get a look at that - there is more of a military theme with the women's clothing though as Doherty has an interest in all things militant - that and crack cocaine.

Oh and guess who is modelling the womenswear range? No not Kate Moss - awkard much??? But Irina Lazareanu - Doherty's on and off again girlfriend. Who is frankly, perfect for the line. If the womenswear looks like this - then I am so in!
