Some polystyrene carved into rough tent like shapes and sanded down a bit, with a bit more practise i could do better
Then i used milliput to add some ridge lines etc.. this was a bit fiddly and took a bit of time
Then paint......
And i made some square types as well.close up they do look very rough but they are only terrain after all
Here they are in situ from our game last night which i will blog in the next couple of days, they obviously have a bit of an Arabic feel but will do for any medieval setting, i guess the large one might even find its way into a VBCW or Sealion Game ?
I also played a SYW game really so we can get our heads around the rules and any amendments we want to make, a very enjoyable couple of hours, dice rule book and Gin !
Thanks Martin for hosting
This was my view of the battlefield, our cavalry exhausting itself but doing nothing much else
And finally a selection of cycling shots mainly for those stuck indoors, i almost feel like the tourist board for Cumbria, but last weekend was particularly spectacular.
This is heading a few miles south from where i live once out of the town sheep but not much else
Looking south towards the Howgills
Then cutting East over Orton Fell towards the Pennines
A different day back up Askham Fell
I will blog the second installment of the Viking mini series in the next couple of days. Keep safe and keep painting !
